Allie Meeres VP of Operations

SIFE Head Shots- Jason Rako -0004

During the 2011-2012 semester, Allie Meeres will be in her second year at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in the Marketing Management Communications program. As a competitive Irish dancer and basketball player for over 10 years, Allie brings enthusiasm and commitment to every project as the Vice President of Operations.

Allie’s love for charity work and public relations was ignited after becoming a SIFE venture partner quickly after starting school in BCIT. As one of the successful associates in the new Go Jill Go Challenge Project, Allie contributed to the $6,500 fundraised for BC Children’s Hospital in honor of a past student. Named the 2011 SIFE Financial Education Challenge Regional Champions, Allie was one of six students to represent BCIT at Regional and National ACE Presentations.

Allie is professionally determined to help others through positive social change and entrepreneurial outreach initiatives. By inspiring other students to make a difference in the community, she is excited to combine her passion for giving back all while enhancing and maintaining the image for SIFE events, businesses and non-profit organizations.

SIFE BCIT holds a general meeting every Tuesday at 7am in SE6-204, BCIT Burnaby Campus. Everyone is welcome.
