The Vancouver 4 Acumen Fund Case Competition: Investing for Impact is now open for registration!
Last year we welcomed 50 students in teams of 2 to particiapte in pre-competition workshops where they learned fundamental analytical and presentation skills. Students also learned to adapt their strategies and recommendations for developing economies and business environments. The competition itself was a take-home 24-hour case focused on an Acumen Fund investment. Students were asked to solve the case and present a strategy on ‘invest or don’t invest and if so why and how’. Teams were comprised of both undergraduate and graduate teams.
This year we’re expanding to include more students! Students are welcome to register in teams of 3 and we will be accepting up to 30 teams this year.
We’re also excited to announce that we’re expanding our program to include 2 additional workshops!
- Workshop 1: strategies for case analysis
- Workshop 2: implementation and presentation (new)
- Workshop 3: financial modelling (new)
- Workshop 4: investing for impact & business strategy in developing economies
